We Had Our TC meeting today at superdog at E-hub. We were planning our big project. Spread the love which it now seems may be re named. We have lots to do and we need lost of $$$$$. As you can See our left over Iced Chocolate, My iced lemon tea and Chillie Cheese Fries....

Ms Gwee Mui Boon, Her Legacy continues

To all my Dear readers,
Yesterday evening Ms Gwee passed away.

To many she was a collegue, a friend, a teacher, family and a course manager.
Always armed with a smile, a compassionate heart and understanding nature.
She place all others before herself.

This Great dame of nursing education has set the benchmark for others to follow in her foot steps.
The foot prints she leaves behind are significant and huge.
Decades of teaching, handful of teachers, hundreds of students, thousands of lives were all fortunate to have made encounters with Ms Gwee.

A Heart of gold, and boundless love is how we all will rember her.
For those of us who had the privillage to walk along this Grand Dame
Rise to the challenge continue to bear the torch so that her legacy will live on
Through the lives she has impacted

I am sure a person of such great love and multitude would now be in heaven and is with god.
She was fortunate to start her new journey of life on holy saturday hours before easter sunday.
Together she rose with the lord, and is in eternal paradise.

Be Italian!

To all my Dear readers,

Hahahaha my last post was what last year! Chee neese new year is coming to an end (Jumps and cheers!)

Went to watch NINE The movie on Saturday evening (19th feb). Only Cathy had it. GV tampines did'nt have it WHY!!!!

NINE is actually a Musical based on a book about the life of a famous italian director Guido Contini. The music is really good and the movie has a really powerful script.

However i dont think the movie should be rated PG. I mean really I think it should at least be NC16, but then again it's not a movie parents will bring their kids to watch. Ah.... Dame Judi Dench, her voice is *Speechless!!*

The songs [My Husband Makes Movies]. [Folies Bergeres] and [Be Italian] are really good. Ferige whom i did not know before this movie really gave it her all such passion...

It was a really good movie but i felt it could have been expanded.. Hahaha One funny part was when the cardinal said make movies about italian women as the great women that they are not potray them as whores. (something like that i think)

My Attachments!

To all my Dear readers,

My attachments at SGH. went fine. Was attached to a surgical ward for three weeks.

And needless to say my trusty stethoscope came along with me my Littmann Master Classic II (Black edition) don't play play. LOL. it came in useful the quality is super good but only the length is too short. suppose you cant have both quality and comfort.

I got to do lots of dressings including MRSA wounds. so i had to gown up in PPE (Gown, Mask and gloves) it was a sauna for almost 1 and half hours of dressing. but it was fun and after the 1 and a half hours my staff nurse told me the patient was going for surgery. ARRR!!!! but it was fun while it lasted.

I've got a new nick name for myself . Victor the bear. Cause bears hibernate. And i love to hibernate(Hide from all my long time no see relatives, "Oh my look how you've grown wah! so big already ah") Yes! Hibernating is good during all festive seasons except christmas oh course. So yes from today onwards when iam in a "emo,ing" mood i will call myself victor the bear. and when iam in a crazzy, happy out of this world mood i will call myself bruno. So ya there you have it

ITE RCHN Blood Drive

ITE Blood Drive in School. I went down in the morning to help out as i only had lessons in the afternoon. Was kinda cool, this years was not 'RA RA' enough. The teachers were spotting and actually joined us in 'Ra Ra,ing' The Target this year was set at 250bags of blood "250!!!!" we sold perfume(Left over from the last drive) they also did henna and sold pictures. thank god the printers arrived on time hahaha! thank you ms masni....opps! Mdm Masni...Anyway the drive was a sucess we managed to clinch appox. 150 bags of blood. we could have inproved on the promotion period. anyway Ms leng's in the photo have not seen ms leng for ages.

Pract! Test (NGT Feeding)

I just had my Practicle test today. There were 4 envoloves of which we had to choose from. i got feeding. I wanted NGT insertion but got feeding instead. Everything went smoothly until the examiner caught me off guard and asked. Are you from ITE and i said .....errr!............Yaaaa!......... -.-!........ hahahha! i left out two things for feeding i didnt do my evaluation and something els which i cant recall. (Oh Btw that picture is'nt from my practicle test that was long long ago in ITE. its kind cool you should try it some day. hahahaha! It is a great solution for lazy people who don't want to eat, or who usually rush from class to class and dont have time to eat. just pop open a can of milk and down it goes. Total nutrition intake lol hahahaha!

AVENUE Q

Avenue Q was greater than i expected. A stand ovation and a round of appulase to the cast of avenue Q. It truely was a great show. Treky monster rocks!! hahahaha! however the only dissappointing thing was that there was no OFFICIAL merchandise. But i bought 2 t-shirts from NewUrbanMale. With Avenue Q themed Slogans.

For Our Main Course we had Salmon, It tasted better than it looked. Iam not one who likes fish in particular COOKED salmon. but it was great.

We Had Dinner at Charcoal which was exquisite and really wonderful. Here we have Joan munching on the cheese cake. looks divine does'nt it......It taste better.

NEW ACHIEVEMENT!!!

Morning To me!! Yawn!!! Iam Sitting in the Atrium of Ngee Ann Blogging. The Shuttle Bus this morning was as cold as usual i slept with my mouth open, so my throats feeling a little sore.

Anyway. Yesterday was my first SAW(Sports and Wellness Course) I chose Swimming and life saving. As 'I' all know...... the only stroke i can swim is the breast stroke or 'frog style as ppl like to call it.

I've always wanted to learn to swim freestyle. well i learnt to swim freestyle yesterday in 2 hours YAHOO!!! lol no pun intended. The funniest thing that happened yesterday was that i nearly lost my laptop. I opened the wrong locker and found it empty. Hahaha! made a big Fuss that resulted in a big embaressment.

After Swimming cam choir. Could hardly drag my legs for choir. Which by the way is half way across the campus. The choir Sang me a belated birthday song. Yeah! Happy Belated B'day to me.

NP Choir Concret at VCH on 18th Oct

Morning World. Hahaha In School Already....Thought class was at 0800hrs apparently i was wrong class starts at 10am. Iam now at canteen one blogging hahaha. Anyway i attended NP's Combined choir concret at VCH last sat. was standing at the back cause i havent learnt how to sing the chinese song yet (AKA havent written the han yi ping ying) I became the Photographer for the day. a little dissapointing though casue most of the pictures came out too dark. No Flash Photography allowed mah! Anyway here goes
